As an environmentally and socially responsible hotel, Residence Celigo recognises the potential impact of its activities on the environment and strictly adheres to a policy of environmentally conscious and forward thinking management.

Examples of our responsibility in action include:

Energy-conscious design
All rooms are electrically wired with a focus on energy-conscious design. Through the key-card system all electrical components are powered down to conserve energy once a guest leaves the room and heating or air conditioning systems are switched off automatically once any windows are opened.

Lightning
LED lighting is used throughout the hotel to reduce energy consumption. Motion sensors are placed on corridors and other less-trafficked areas to turn the lights on when movement is detected and turn them off automatically after worth.

Recycling scheme        
A thoroughly comprehensive recycling scheme through which all paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, cooking oil, light bulbs and batteries are recycled. Furthermore guests are encouraged to use the special recycling bins which are provided in each room and in the common areas.  All paper used for marketing and advertising purposes is 100% recycled.

Linen and Towels
Through the card provided every guest is empowered to outline to our cleaning staff the frequency and specifics of the linens or towels that they wish to have replaced, thus supporting our campaign to reduce any unnecessary impact to the environment.

Green Cleaning
All our cleaning products are certified as biodegradable and eco-friendly.

Only fresh local farming products
We also endeavour to provide only fresh regional farming products in our restaurant ensuring superior quality and flavour while also lowering carbon emissions sustained during transport.
